Hemp, Hemp, Hooray!
The majority of our designs are crafted from hemp fiber, blended with organic cotton. We chose to work with hemp because of its amazing texture and superior environmental score. Hemp is the premier plant fiber fabric, used to make the first American Flag and the first pair if Levi’s jeans! Now softer and more diverse then ever, hemp is always organically grown and produces 250% more usable yield then cotton and 600% more then flax, on the same amount of acreage!
Unlike many other so-called ‘natural’ fibers, hemp is processed in non-toxic ways. Not only that, but hemp fibers are porous, working to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter, and absorbs dye better. We just love the unique texture and the beautiful array of natural blends available these days. Once you go hemp, you’ll love it for life!

HEMP FABRICS
55% hemp, 45% cotton in lightest weight jersey is used for most of our shirts and dresses. Like t-shirt material with a natural look, much more body and texture. Black material may be of slightly heavier weight.
FRENCH TERRY
This is a great, weighty warm fabric made from 55% hemp, 45% cotton. It’s like sweatshirt material with an organic feel and loops instead of fuzz on the flip side. We leave our edges raw, because it frays in such a fabulous way.
LYCRA JERSEY
A yoga knit with stretch that we use for our Pants and Skirts. 54% hemp, 43% cotton, 3% Lycra. Thicker then our other jersey, with a touch of lycra for superior form fitting comfort and extra stretch.
ECO-FLEECE
Eco-fleece fabric is the best quality polar fleece available. It’s super plush and warm, and ages gracefully. It’s made entirely from 2 liter pop bottles! Unbelievably soft and warm, washes up easily in a simple warm wash and dry cycle, with no special care required.
HEMP LINEN
100% Hemp just like old fashion linens, but with the texture of a fine hemp weave. Soft and lovely and as with all hemp garments just improves with age.
HEMP DENIM
Dark Indigo dyed denim made from 55% hemp, 45% denim, with a subtle natural sheen.
